Vital Organs

Performance by EMF Live Music

Sunday from 9:30 PM - 10:10 PM in Stage B

This performance has the following content notes:
The bagpipes are loud! It's not a set that's designed for families but is family friendly (although the theremin material is a little creepy).

Theremin, robotic carillon, sub-bass DIY bagpipes and more in this one-of-a-kind performance from humans Sarah Angliss and Karina Townsend and their extraordinary DIY machines. Hear them conjure birdsong, otherworldly voices and more as their instruments rattle your ribcage or spin into a delicate hyper-virtuosic metallic haze. Sarah Angliss is an Ivor Novello Award winning composer and instrument maker who tonight will be sharing a few of her experimental sonic excursions. Karina Townsend is a playful instrument maker and all-round creative technologist - she's also a member of groovy beat combo Mike Flowers Pops.
