Ever wondered how the chips in your electronic devices are designed and fabricated? This talk looks at chip fabrication technologies, the process of designing, vaildating and testing analog, digital and mixed-signal chips. Several chip design projects the speaker has worked on, including prototype miniaturised capsules for fluorescence and ultrasound imaging within the human intestine, are also covered.
