Games Minus Industry

Videogames mash all media together with system design, making them inherently flexible in a way nothing else has ever been. Unfortunately, they're also tragically limited by over-dependence on industry and commercially appealing genres. I'll use mountain biking to unpick Super Hexagon, and then the pieces of both to unpick the divergence between the innate weirdness of videogames and the games industry's entrenched resistance to that.
